WSTBZ Consulting Limited (WSTBZ) is an Information Technology and Business Services Consulting firm that provides services in project management, IT consulting and data analytics, service procurement, operations consulting, process design/automation, audit, compliance and capabilities development. The company was founded in July of 2012 in Kingston, Jamaica.

Basil G. Lewis (Director) – Internal Control, Enterprise Risk Management (SOX; COSO Framework) Specialist

Basil brings 20 years of professional experience to WSTBZ Consulting Limited. Basil is a results driven Certified Public Accountant and Project Management Professional, with significant experience in financial reporting, internal control, internal audit and compliance. He has provided leadership, performed process improvement, audit attestation, financial statement preparation & reporting, strategic planning, internal controls, cost accounting and consulting experience for organizations in both the private and public sector. He is a Subject Matter Expert for Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) Act of 2002, OMB A123 implementation and reviews, internal controls documentation, process map (flowcharts) and narrative, risk assessment, identification of key controls, control gap analysis, coupled with execution control testing pursuant to the COSO Framework and Enterprise Risk Management concepts.

Basil has approximately 4 years of experience with SAP R/3, FI/CO and PA functional end-user and 3 plus years with PeopleSoft Financial System. Strengths and specialties include GAAP accounting, SEC statutory rules and reporting, annual and quarterly 10-Ks and 10-Qs, review SOP 97-2, prepared FASB 109– Deferred Tax calculation, reporting and performed reconciliation to UK Partial Provision Method. Performed and maintained records for Welfare Benefit Plan (VEBA) Form 5500, IRS Code 501C.
